Privacy Policy

What we collect

Device ID. A random identifier created on your device so your streaks, purchases and club membership can be recognised. It isn't linked to you unless you sign in.

Crew name. The nickname you choose. It's shown to other players on leaderboards and inside any Heist Club you join.

Game results. Daily and Big Score hauls, escapes and busts, used for your club feed and the leaderboard.

Email address — only if you sign in (magic link) or buy something. Used to send the sign-in link, restore purchases and sync your progress. We don't send marketing email.

Push subscription — only if you turn on the daily reminder. You can turn it off in Settings at any time.

Error reports and usage counts. If the app crashes we record the error message, the page, and your browser type. We count events like "daily played" in aggregate. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments; we never see your card number. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Both are bound by their own privacy policies. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Where it lives and for how long

Progress is stored on your device and, if you sign in, on our servers in the United States. Results are kept while your account is active. Error reports are kept for 90 days.

Your choices

Settings → Reset erases everything on this device. To delete your account and server data, email devteam@thewebdesignhub.com from the address you signed in with and we'll remove it within 30 days. You can export your data on request.

Children

Word Heist is for players 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children; if you think we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
